PC fair!! XXD
2 days ago, on 30 Aug, my family and i went to a PC fair at suntec city (and i get to skip tution!! YAY!) and it was bloomin with ppl. very interesting seeing so much IT products and it was really fun. how should i put it? well, ok i badly wanted a new handphone cos mine's very antique, so we went to the topmost level, the sixth level, where all small IT products could be found there (e.g. notebooks, MP3s, MP4s and MP5s, cameras, handphones, portable hardiscs, thumbdrives and other products). there were all selling at damn hot prices!! i came across a so cheap note book ($699) with 2GB ram, 160GB hardisc storage, built in wi-fi, built in camera and with vista software. wow. and my parents din buy it. gesh. they say i dun nid it so they wont buy it. not only notebooks are at a so damn cheap price, an 8GB thumbdrive costed only $36. imagine that!! previously a 1GB thumbdrive cost around $20, now a 1Gb thumbdrive only cost a few dollars. imagine how the standard of IT is going up. i guess a few more months later, 1GB thumbdrives will be off the market... SCARY. anyways, we bought an electric pen (though i dun think there was anything special abt it) and a 8GB thumbdrive for my brother. the handphones werent very cheap. even i agree on that point. so yeah, i went home without a new phone.. (rather sad ain't it?) but nevermind, next year, i will get my hands on a new phone! muhaha!! :)
